A Case of Kawasaki disease Complicated by Cerebral Infarction

Abstract
The most important complication in Kawasaki disease is coronary artery involvement which may cause sudden death or coronary heart disease. Other complications such as cholecystitis, arthritis, myocarditis and urethritis have also been reported.
With
regard to neurological complications, and aseptic meningitis, which is mostly asymptomatic and benign, occurs in about a half of the patients. However, there are only a few reports of other neurological complications.
